AOP VENTOUX
The AOP Ventoux (Appellation d'Origine Protégée) is located in the southern part of the Rhône wine-growing region and owes its name to the UNESCO biosphere reserve of the legendary Mont Ventoux. At the foot of this limestone massif, the AOP Ventoux boasts an astonishing variety of geological formations. The vineyards cover 5,786 hectares in 51 municipalities on the left bank of the Rhône.
